- We are having our reception in an art gallery
- The walls of the gallery are blank and need art
- We like the art!
- Making us art is cheaper than buying us something
- Not only is it cheaper, but its more personal and unique
- It would be a really special gift for the both of us
What better decorations for a wedding than the talent of our friends!
If you aren't an artisit, don't worry about it. We understand not everyone makes art. Sam doesn't, nor can he! :) Other gifts are great too!
Kinds of art we are looking for:
- Anything goes but please keep in mind that this is, afterall, a wedding reception!
- Nothing pornographic, overly violent, or stuff that will make us regret this idea!
- Any size
- Any medium
- Again, pretty much anything goes
If you are going to make art here are two things you can do:
- Mail it to us in advance
- Bring it with you and drop it off at Gallery 5 between 2pm-6pm (before reception begins)
Make sure when sending the art you give us all the info on it (who made it, title, etc.)
If you are maling it try and have it to us a couple of days before the wedding date (9/15)
